Al Cervone, Guitar
Alexander Cervone passed away on April 19, 2011. A gifted guitarist and musician, Al was very active in local bands and once shared the stage with Jon Bon Jovi. From swing bands to bluegrass to jazz to rock-n-roll, He was gifted in performing and teaching many genres of music. Al was the co-founder of CR Properties Group, LLC in Poughkeepsie, NY. Al was also a former board member of Hospice. Al is sorely missed by his family, his devoted love, and the members of the Jazz Pioneers

Bernie Argyle, Trumpet
Dr. Bernell Argyle passed away on April 4, 2009. Bernie, as he preferred to be called, was a retired research scientist emeritus with the IBM Corporation, having been awarded more than 60 patents and international recognition during his 46 year career with IBM. Bernie's love of science coexisted with his love for big band music and the trumpet, establishing himself as a founding member of the Jazz Pioneers. Bernie is sorely missed by his family, his church family, and the members of the Jazz Pioneers
